Dato’ Dr TK Ho completed
MBBS at the University of Malaya in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Following the undergraduate
study, he immediately went to the United Kingdom to further his
training in 1999. He obtained both Memberships of the Royal College
of Surgeons (MRCS) of England and Edinburgh in 2003 and completed the
intercollegiate exit examination to obtain the Fellowship of the
Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS) in 2010. He was awarded the Doctors of
Philosophy (PhD) degree in Vascular Surgery in 2012 by the University
College London as well as the Certificate of Completion of
Training (CCT) by the General Medical Council, UK.
He had won many international awards, including being the first recipient of Research Fellowship from Circulation Foundation UK 2007, SARS session prize winner, Vascular Society of Great Britain and Ireland (VSGBI) Annual Meeting, Manchester 2007 and the Young Investigator’s Award, International Society of Applied Cardiovascular Biology (ISACB) Biennial Meeting in 2008,
His practice in vascular surgery ranges from treatment of spider veins, varicose veins (endovenous laser treatment / EVLT and VNUS / RFA / Venaseal glue), diabetic foot ulcers and limb salvage, creation and salvage of arterio-venous fistula, endovascular repair of aortic aneurysms, etc.
